Update & Re-Launch!

Wow. HI! It has been a hot minute since the last time I made a post.

If I am honest, I lost the direction and focus for the website with this pandemic. The travel industry took a huge hit (which of course you know), and that really made me have an identity crisis. I lost my vision, my inspiration, my goals and overall dream. I couldn’t see past this global crisis, and ultimately I felt I lost my voice with nothing valuable to share.

Okay pity party over! Because, baby I’m back!

During this quarter life crisis, I really had to think about what I wanted to put out into the world, and what I wanted Postcard Pursuit to represent.

I took some time to do research, inform myself, seek advice, listen, self-reflect, and decide what was important to me. At the end I came out with a new vision for Postcard Pursuit, and for myself too!

I narrowed down to 3 foundations / core values I want to be centered around.

This first one will shock you I’m sure…

I feel like this is self-explanatory. It was the foundation, and initial inspiration, for me to start blogging.
Since I left Canada in 2017, I have LOVED every moment of travelling and seeing new places. Many people can relate to this, and I love sharing my experiences with like-minded people! I feel like it is a part of my identity.

Moving abroad and beginning my travel experiences was one of the best decisions I ever made. I have seen and been through a lot these past years, and I think I have some valuable knowledge to share with others.

I would love to encourage people to seek out similar experiences, and helping them along the way.

So, let’s chat about the ins and outs of living abroad!

This is a new concept that I have recently become very passionate about. I’ve been watching a lot of documentaries, reading articles, talking to people, getting involved, and informing myself as best as possible.

Not only have I been doing research, I have been altering my own lifestyle and choices to reflect this position. I am really excited to start being an advocate for planet-friendly/conscious practices, and share with the world how they can make a difference too!

It’s time to love the planet more. I am going to show you how easy it can be.

“We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.”
Anne-Marie Bonneau

Now, all that being said, I want to know what you want to read about, too.
It can be anything. I want to know!

I’m talking travel stories.
I’m talking expat life or tips.
Personal life.
Travel guides.
Location recommendations.
You tell me!
